Following some very constructive feedback from colleagues I am planning a major overhaul in the structure of the course. Other comments are more than welcomed!
>> Multimedia Interpreting Course
Be sure you have a headset plugged in, as you will hear the original speaker in the RIGHT ear and the interpreter in the LEFT one.

I would love to see this and comment granted it were in a system independent format. What is the development application by the way? With a Mac it won’t work anyway.
No, I’m sorry it works only on Windows machines and I do not plan to extend it to other platforms, at least not for the moment.
Interesting. It is a proof in action that didactic content creation is now accessible to anyone, meaning that what will distinguish good learning content and the rest will be the trainer’s competence to weave up tangible, well structured learning material. In the next version, you may consider providing more descriptive content on “how to make the best use of this”. For advanced interpretation trainees, the task to perform may be obvious but for beginners, some guidance like progressive training tips should probably make a difference, all the more that we are going toward more self-training scenarios in the future, and less school attending. For good or bad purposes, simultaneous (which I don’t practice and I am not trained for) is starting to be requested or expected in situations out of the booth with the progress of technology. Some over the phone interpretation services are claiming to provide simultaneous over the wires as if it were a matter of fact. But to conclude, I am impressed.
Dear Lionel,
Following your comment I have posted the short demo in the Learning Content Management System Dokeos where it should be accessible to any computer, both Mac and Windows. You just have to click on the “online” link.
Thank you very much for pointing to this issue. It’s very important to receive constructive feedback.
By the way I checked your Blog and it appears very interesting.
